The tournament will be divided into two levels:

Level A: Aimed at teams with playing experience

Level B: Aimed at teams with less playing experience

• Each league will be made up of 4 teams that will play each other in a total of 3 games per team.
• At the end of the matches between all the teams, a final will be held between the 2 teams from each league with the most wins. 
• In the event of a tie in the number of wins, the difference between sets won and sets lost will be used.
• In the event of a tie in the difference between sets won and sets lost, the difference between points won and points lost will be used.  
• Each match will be a best of 3 sets. The first 2 sets at 21 points and the third at 12 points
• There is a time limit for each set. The end of the game is signalled by the table judge. If the time limit coincides with the middle of a rally, or when a player is about to serve, play must continue until the end of that point.
• The 1st and 2nd sets will last 15 minutes and the 3rd set 8 minutes. 
• If the time runs out before the total points are reached (21 or 12), the team with the most points wins the set.
• In the event of a tie, one more tie-break point will be played.
• There are no time-outs during sets
• There are no time-outs between sets. Players are advised to change sides quickly and start the next set.

This format may be changed to better accommodate the number of registered teams.

The rules for the Bats InterCup’24 will be based on the FIVB defined rules.

This tournament will have some photographers who will publish photos and videos on a public website. In case you don’t wish to see images of you displayed, please advise the organization committee beforehand.

All participants are expected to behave appropriately. Any instance of any participant being seen to be bringing the game into disrepute will be subject to sanction by the Tournament Committee. This can include being refused entry to the tournament and/or removal from the tournament. No refund available in this stance.
